Different people in every country get the credit loans from various banks, because that's easy and fast.

You are very brave, to cut the neck of the turkey. I don't think I would have had the fortitude. But you stuck to your guns. I am astounded you made your own salt as well!

Overall, quite a special Thanksgiving meal. Well done!

Wow - I'm so impressed. We purchased an organically raised, free-range local turkey for our Thanksgiving this year. The farm sold heritage breeds, but I opted for the broad breast because it was bigger. Didn't dawn on me to get 2 heritage breeds, duh. But I didn't get to do the processing! And then making your own salt! And the salt crust is impressive too. Wow. A holiday to remember for sure!

So... do you eat the dough from around the turkey? Or is it sent to the bin? Just curious!

Congrats on being selected as well! I am also a fan of buying locally raised products without the middle man. So far I haven't gone as far as to do any killing or butchering yet. I'm well aware of what the animal goes through but I don't know if I could do it. I found it hard enough to boil a lobster without changing my mind.
