Linda, you might want to stop now before you become totally addicted to Dexter like Jen and I, since you'll be pissed when you learn what happened in this year's season finale. Jen gets so upset at the thought of it that I can't even mention Dexter anymore. But since you are still so far back (I think the key lime pie episode was from the first season), by the time you get to this season's finale Jen should have processed it enough to help you get by if need be... :)

By the way, I'm sure you have plenty of dinner plans for NYC already, but if you can try to hit Ivo & Lulu on the western edge of SoHo. Jen and I used to love going there, and added bonus, it is byob.

Have a great time in NYC! I know you'll do well, if the key lime pie is any evidence.
Ironically I started cooking Indian food during chemo 20 years ago, so even if the key lime pie maybe can't cure cancer it sure as hell looks like it couldn't hurt!

Linda, as if this mouthwatering pie wasn't evidence enough that FB and Electrolux are backing the right lady, you have a keen awareness of and sensitivity to the cause. Few people would have put so much thought into all the different aspects of this event, and that's a major reason I love your blog! You're a terrific cook and a terrific blogger, and I know you will do terrifically in NYC!

I agree, I wish key lime pie could cure cancer too! Alas as far as we know it can't, but hopefully your trip to New York will help in some way and this delicious looking pie will bring people here to raise awareness!
